The Civic Standard New Home Grand Opening! Hardwick
- Join us for a Town Wide Dinner Party to celebrate the grand opening of our new space! The evening will feature dinner, live music, a silent auction, and a LIVE PIE AUCTION to benefit our New Home fund. All are welcome. Help us warm our new home! December 10, 2025, 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM. Maker's Market at Front Seat Coffee, Hardwick - Every Friday for the month of December (5th, 12th, 19th) we have PACKED the house with local vendors and producers. Every market is a different mix so be sure to come to all of them. Front Seat will have foods (baked goods, soup, etc) and drinks (beer, wine, or any of our barista drinks) or come on down to hang out!

Birch Bark Ornaments Workshop, Highland Center for the Arts, Greensboro - Enjoy the simple pleasure of creating a decoration or gift from materials responsibly harvested in Vermont. Utilizing techniques common to the Scandinavian and Russian style of basketry, you will craft birds and stars using strips of inner bark from the paper birch. Included is a discussion on how these materials are harvested and prepared. Each person will leave with three ornaments. Saturday, December 20 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
